WE ARE LOOKING FOR ASSISTANTS!
Employment type: full-time or part-time
Legendary colorist Rita Hazan is looking for styling assistants in her brand new salon location. If you’re serious about a career in hair and want to work in a fast paced, fun environment with some of the most talented people in the industry, we’d love to hear from you!
Rita Hazan Salon is known for training and promoting assistants who go on to become highly skilled and successful colorists/stylists from within the salon. We offer weekly training sessions on innovative and trending techniques to bring your skills to the next level.
Requirements:
1. Must have your NYC Cosmetology License (temporary license is accepted)
2. Desire to learn and grow, with passion for education & growth, and driven to continuously improve and an eagerness to learn new skills and techniques
3. Ability to be a team player in a fast paced environment
4. Strong multi-tasking, active listening and communication skills
5. Salon experience is preferred, but not required
6. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays
