We are seeking a talented and experienced Hair Stylist to join our high-end salon in Lincoln Park/ Chicago. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to work with a ready-made clientele base of discerning clients seeking exceptional hair services. Hair Apprentice : will be given an ongoing trainings for up to a year to grow into 6 figure stylist.
Responsibilities:
– Provide exceptional hair services to clients, including haircuts, styling, coloring, and treatments, in alignment with their preferences and desired outcomes
– Consult with clients to understand their hair goals, offering expert advice and recommendations
– Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling through continuous education and training
– Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the salon’s high standards of cleanliness and professionalism are upheld
– Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and fostering long-term loyalty
– Consistently meet or exceed individual sales and service targets, contributing to the salon’s overall success
– Collaborate with other salon professionals to create a seamless and cohesive client experience
– Adhere to all salon policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
– Valid cosmetology license in Illinois.
– Proven experience as a Hair Stylist in salon setting and training.
– Extensive knowledge and expertise in hair cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments
– Strong understanding of current trends and techniques in hair styling
– Exceptional customer service and communication skills
– Ability to build and maintain a loyal client base
– Professional and polished appearance
– Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to providing an exceptional salon experience
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
